✔️ABS resin

ABS resin is the earliest material used for interior door handles. Due to the poor mechanical properties, ABS resin has been rarely used in door handles at present. ABS resins for door handles are divided into general-purpose and heat-resistant types. General-purpose ABS has good electroplating performance. The heat distortion temperature of ABS resin is generally 90-105 ° C, and has good rigidity, toughness and fluidity.

PC is an engineering plastic with excellent mechanical properties. However, the electroplating performance of PC is not very good, so it is limited in the use process.

✔️PC/ABS

PC/ABS resin is the fastest growing and most widely used material for interior door handles. PC/ABS resin is an alloy of PC and ABS. It has the high strength of PC and the easy electroplating performance of ABS, and is mainly divided into two types: electroplating and spraying. Compared with sprayed PC/ABS resin, the surface of electroplated PC/ABS resin is more metallic and looks more upscale.

✔️PC/PBT

PC/PBT is a blend of PC and PBT. Usually, it is supplied in the form of pellets after blending. PC/PBT maintains the chemical resistance and easy forming characteristics of crystalline material PBT, and has both the toughness and dimensional stability of amorphous material PC.

✔️PA (Nylon)

The mechanical properties of PA are excellent, but its electroplating and water absorption properties are not good. PA for interior door handles is generally divided into two categories: spray type PA and electroplating type PA. The composition of electroplating PA is generally PA+20% minerals.
